First
Presbyterian Church has many opportunities available for members and friends
of all ages to be nurtured in their walks with God. Sunday
School & Adult Education Returns September 7 at 9:30 am Adult Education - has two opportunities offered
on Sunday mornings. One class meets in the Library and discusses
various books and another class meets in the parlor on Sunday mornings and is
studies various books of the Bible. Youth Ministry (ELEMENT)
–Junior (7th - 9th
grades) meets every Wednesday at 7:00 pm and High School (10th - 12th grades)
meets Sunday nights at 6:30pm. For more information, please visit their

Pastor’s Bible Study - You are invited to participate in
this small group study of the coming weekend’s Scripture texts. The group
meets in the church parlor from 9:30-11:00 each Wednesday morning. Coffee and
tea is served. No preparation is necessary, but if you want to view the
selected texts, click here. Sunday
School - meets each Sunday morning at 9:30 am. Kids Church is open to all children, three
years old through 12th Grade. (Returns September 7) “Where in the World Are First Presbyterian Kids?” Summer Kid Adventures are being planned
for Elementary-aged kids at First Presbyterian. Events include a trip to
Northwest Trek (July 11), a swimming party (July 15) and more. Watch the
bulletins and website for details. We will not be having Vacation Bible
School at First Presbyterian Church this summer, please check out the
Vacation Bible Schools at Shepherd of the Hill Presbyterian Church
(June 23-27) or Sumner Presbyterian Church (July
14-18). Library -The Church Library is located on
the main floor of the education wing of the church. There you will find a
wide selection of books, videos and tapes on all facets of the Christian
life. There are also books for children of all ages as well as resource books
for parents and teachers. |
