First Presbyterian Church of Puyallup
was organized on February 11, 1889, by a group of two men and thirteen women.
By 1896, the membership had grown to 99, and the annual church budget was
$751.00. The first church building was constructed at a cost of $4,800.00 on
the site we still occupy.
It is a distinctive landmark in downtown Puyallup.
